SVQ Assessment Model 

TfC uses a full peripatetic assessment model for the Children's Care, Learning and Development SVQs.

Under the model, our only requirements for workplaces are

• monthly access for the peripatetic assessor

• provision of appropriately qualified staff to act as mentor/witness for your SVQ candidates to

  • authenticate the candidate's written accounts

  • provide witness testimony

  • meet the peripatetic assessor briefly on their monthly visit.

Everything else is done by the peripatetic assessor.
